Altinkemer Public Beach
Karamursel Altinkemer Public Beach; It is located in Karamürsel District, which is connected to Kocaeli province in the Eastern Marmara region and located on the south coast of Izmit Bay. The beach, which is 1 km away from the Karamürsel district center, is not affected by domestic and industrial pollution since the industrial facilities are not located in the district and the domestic treatment is 100% purified. In Karamürsel, summers are generally hot and less rainy, and winters are rainy and cool. The average annual temperature in the district is 14.5 degrees and the hottest months are July and August. There is sea and land transportation between Kocaeli city center and Karamürsel. It is possible to reach the district by public transportation vehicles and by sea bus.
