Kapıkule Border Gate
Kapıkule, which was first established as a border post in 1930, received border gate status with the decision of the Council of Ministers in 1953. Kapıkule Border Gate is Turkey's gateway to Bulgaria and thus to all of Europe, and is the second busiest border gate in the world and the busiest in Europe.
