Sarp Border Gate

Sarp Border Gate is the border gate between Turkey and Georgia on the Black Sea coast. It takes its name from the Sarp village on the border of Hopa district of Artvin. The border village on the Georgian side is also called Sarpi. This border crossing was opened in 1989. It is 252 meters above sea level.
