Vefa Bozacısı

Vefa Bozacısı is a boza company serving in Vefa neighborhood of Fatih district of Istanbul. It started its service as an institution in 1876. It is a family company that has witnessed the Ottoman Empire, the establishment of the republic and the world wars, and has continued its existence in this process. The commercial life of two brothers named Sadık and İbrahim, who came from Prizren (Kosovo) during the Ottoman Russian War and started with the production and sale of salep, syrup and boza in Zeyrek, has come to this day with the shop they bought in Vefa district.

Upon the death of Hacı Sadık Bey, his brother Hacı İbrahim Bey and their nephew Hacı İsmail continued the production and sale of boza, and after him his sons and grandsons continued with the same name.
