Ayngebire Picnic Area
Ayngebire Promenade and Campground, 5 km from Kozluk town center, on both sides of Değirmendere, in a lush nature, where bird sounds mix with the sounds of water, is a wonderful place where local people come and spend time on weekends in summer months, walk and picnic. The recreation area between pine forests and poplar trees is one of the indispensable places for families living in this region. Ayngebire, a perfect picnic spot, is the most popular place in the region with its unique nature and the tremendous therapeutic sound of Değirmendere. Both sides of the area where Değirmendere passes are ideal for hiking and camping. On the platforms built on the stream, it is possible to sit and have a picnic. You can also use the picnic tables by the creek. However, it would be good to come early in the morning, especially on weekends. You can light your barbecue and enjoy the moment by putting your feet in clean water while the meat is cooking. There is a facility in the recreation area where you can meet your meat, bread and other food and beverage needs. In addition, there are facilities such as WC, fountain, market and prayer room. Ayngebire is 65 km from Batman city center. Those who will use public transportation can come to the district center by taking the buses going from Batman intercity bus station to Kozluk district, and they can reach the city center by taking a taxi from there. Those who will come by private car can head towards Batman Airport and turn towards Bitlis at the Diyarbakır-Bitlis road junction before reaching the Malabadi Bridge, and come to the district center with the help of the Kozluk signs on the road. After arriving in the district center, they can proceed towards Değirmendere Village and reach the recreation area after a 5-minute drive. There are car parking spaces in the promenade area.
