Gazihan Dede Recreation Area Campground
Gazihan Dede Recreation and Campground, located on the edge of the Euphrates River, 20 km from Adıyaman, is one of the places where local people come and have a picnic on weekends during the summer months. The recreation area is located on a large land, among the pine trees and right next to the dam. Walking or picnicking against the view of the dam is quite ideal here. Since there is no settlement around, it is not exposed to noise. It is a beautiful place that you can only recommend to those who want to spend time alone with nature. You can have a barbecue and picnic in the picnic area. Tables are available for picnic. There are also paths around which you can walk. The sunset here is also beautiful. If you are a photography lover, you can capture beautiful shots from this point. This area, which you can recommend to those who are considering tent camping, has enough shade areas and good tent spots to see the sunset. However, you should meet your eating and drinking needs before you come here and come like that. There are no facilities in the area other than WC, fountain and parking lot. Those arriving by car pay a small fee at the entrance. Access to the recreation area is provided via the Adıyaman-Bağpınar road. Those who will come with their private vehicles should set off from the city center and turn left towards Gazihan Caddesi as soon as they pass Adıyaman University (Altınşehir) and take the Bağpınar road. The recreation area is 5 km from the village center to Kuyucak Village.
