İkiyaka Cilo Sat Lakes
The Glacier (Cilo) and İkiyaka (Sat) Mountains are mountain ranges in the east of Hakkari city center, shaped by the Zap Suyu in the north, and suddenly rising with the Sümbül and Mere peaks. The bird flight in the northwest-southeast direction of the area is approximately 60 km long. Between the glacier and the İkiyaka mountain range is a large valley where the İnci Stream passes. The upper parts of the mountain are covered with high mountain meadows with dense stony areas. These areas are home to a large number of narrow span and endangered plant species. There are permanent glaciers in the upper parts and glacial lakes especially concentrated in the Sat Mountains. In the low valleys facing south, remnant oak forests and walnut communities lie.
