Karacaören Dam Campground
Karacaören dam, built on Aksu Stream, is 85 km from the city center. Access to the dam, which was completed in 1989, can be provided by private vehicles. Located in a lush nature and in a wonderful environment, the dam lake is used for irrigation and energy needs in the region.
Karacaören dam, which is located in a large forested land, is surrounded by red pine forests. There are many monumental trees that have been standing for centuries around the dam, which is an immaculate and oxygen-rich region. In this unique environment, both tent camp and caravan camp can be set up in the green against the blue dam lake.
