Talat Göktepe Nature Park Campground
Erdemli Pine (Talat Göktepe Pine) It is a pine grove and nature park located in Erdemli district of Mersin province. It lies just west of the city center of Erdemli, between the state road running parallel to the pine groves and the Mediterranean coast. Its distance to Mersin is 39 kilometers. There are mainly red pine (Pinus Brutia) in the 26.14 hectare pine grove. The official name of the pine grove is Talat Göktepe Nature Park. Talat Göktepe is the Director of Forestry who died in 1994 while fighting a forest fire on the Çanakkale Gallipoli Peninsula. Çamlık was registered as a recreation area in 1962 and as a nature park in 2011.
