Çatak Canyon
Çatak Canyon is a canyon located in Azdavay district of Kastamonu province. The canyon is 7 km from Azdavay district center. 6 km of the canyon can be reached by car and 1 km of the canyon can be reached by walking through the forest to the 900-meter-high observation terrace of the canyon. In the 8 km long canyon, the height of the side wall rocks reaches 400-880 meters in places. The steep cliffs in this canyon are home to birds of prey such as eagles, hawks and falcons, as well as all other wild animals such as bears and gazelles. It is not possible to cross the canyon without equipment.
