Geliye Goderne (Taşköprü) Canyon

There are traces of the cave period on the rocks in the village of Taşköprü, which is 30 km away from us. In addition, there is a strait with a height of 200 meters along the Sarim Stream in the region. There is also a historical Taşköprü, which gives its name to the region and connects Kulp district to Silvan district, on Sarım Stream in the same region. The history of Taşköprü Village, which was established in the place where Kulp, Silvan and Hazro regions approach each other and where their interactions are most intense, dates back to ancient times. Even today, there are remains of old Armenian settlements on the hills south of the village. Taşköprü, which connects Kulp to Silvan and Hazro and takes its name from the name of the village, is also located in the northwest of this village. Bridge, II. It was built during the reign of Abdülhamit. It is similar to the Malabadi Bridge in Silvan with its architecture. It was made of specially shaped stones cut on the rocks in the north of the village.

It is a natural area with a rich ecosystem, cultural structure, and historical past, enough to be a world heritage site.
