Gerger Canyon
Gerger Canyon, located on the border of Gerger district of Adıyaman province in the Southeastern Anatolia Region, is located between the Euphrates river and the Atatürk dam lake. We can come across many canyons of various sizes in this region. This canyon was brought into tourism in 2004. Most people are unaware of it because it is not promoted enough. You can reach Şahin Tepesi in the district of Gerçek with your personal vehicle or tour buses. Here you can take the ferry and visit the canyon. The tour, which takes about 3 hours, ends at the Nissibi bridge.
