Gökçeler Canyon
Gökçeler Canyon is a canyon located in Muğla province. The canyon is located between Gökçeler and Karacahisar villages of Milas district of Muğla province. it is approximately 8 kilometers long. Değirmen Stream, also known as Hamzabey Stream, passes through the canyon. It is estimated that there were about 14 flour mills on the stream in the canyon in the past, and the remains of three mills still exist. There are about 30 large and small caves in the canyon, the most important of which are İncirliin Cave and Çatal Cave. İncirliin Cave is already open to visitors, while Çatal Cave awaits scientific exploration. Archaeological finds have been discovered in the canyon.
