Valley of the Gurs
Gurs Valley, located in Karaman Village of Kızıltepe district, is 25 km from the city center. Transportation is provided via Nusaybin Street. Access by car is easy as there is an asphalt road. The waterfall and valley in Karaman Village, also known as Xurs Village, is the hidden beauty of Mardin with its natural beauty. Famous for its waterfalls and flowing waters, the valley is visited today as a picnic and meeting point with nature. Gurs Valley, which offers a different atmosphere to its visitors, can be preferred to cool off in the cool waters on hot summer days, to spend a day in nature with the sounds of birds, and to have a family picnic. Gurs Valley, which is a daily vacation spot for the people of Mardin to swim in the cool waters, is also impressive with its fresh air with plenty of oxygen and lush green landscapes. There is no restaurant or tea garden option in the vicinity. Gurs Valley can be visited free of charge any season of the year.
