Ataturk Silhouette
One of the most important natural beauties of our city is the "ATATURK SILULUE" reflected in the mountains of our Damal District. This event, which occurs every year between 15 June and 15 July on the slopes of Karadağ, Yukarı Gündeş Village of our Damal District, is a natural wonder. Between these dates, as the sun sets, the shadow of one side of the mountain is reflected on the other side, completely naturally creating the silhouette of the Great Leader Atatürk.
