Döngel Caves
The caves are 57 km from the city centre. One of the most important caves in the region, the Döngel Caves consist of three connected caverns. It is believed that humans lived in the caves during the Palaeolithic period (BCE 40,000 to 10,000). The caves are 102 meters in height.
