Dupnisa Cave
Dupnisa Cave, which is the first and only cave of the Thrace Region to be opened to tourism, is located in the region where the Black Sea climate prevails, forming the Turkey-Bulgaria border and where the Rezve Stream splits the Istranca Mountains with deep valleys. A dense vegetation that can meet all shades of green welcomes you in the cave. Dupnisa, which consists of two layers and three caves connected to each other in marbles in the second geological time, is called the "Cave System" with its scientific name. Kuru and Kız Caves are located on the upper floor of the system, which has a total length of 2720 meters. Sulu Cave is located 50-60 meters below these caves that have completed their development. The total length of this cave, through which an underground river flows continuously, is 1977 meters. It is a large underground system that has continued its formation and development for approximately 4 million years. The cave, which is rich in drop stones, has colors from milky white to red and brown; giant stalactites, stalagmites, columns; The curtain creates an admirable view with flag dripstones and dripstone pools.
