Köroğlu Cave
Köroğlu Cave, which is one of the favorite addresses of nature trips and caving tours and visited by hundreds of people not only from Erzincan but also from neighboring cities such as Sivas, is located within the borders of Refahiye district, approximately 75 kilometers from Erzincan. The thousands of years old cave, which is said to be the place where the legendary hero Köroğlu hid his gray horse, and which can be reached by huge stone stairs, has been the subject of many stories and stories in its long history. Köroğlu Cave, where you can take an unforgettable trip among the huge stalactites and stalagmites in its spacious interior, was also used as a settlement for a while during the Ottoman period.
