Lovers Cave

The Lovers Cave is located in the Alanya district of Antalya, which hosts the most domestic and foreign tourists in the Mediterranean throughout the year. The Lovers Cave, which forms a different face of Alanya, is located in the southwest of the historical peninsula. Just like the Pirate Cave, this cave cannot be entered by boat. However, when you go to the depth of the cave, which is big enough for a person to enter, it is possible to pass to the other side of the peninsula. There is a height of about 34 meters between the entrance of the cave and the sea water. Cilvarda Cape is reached by climbing the rocks after the boat docks on the rocks. Located on the historical peninsula in Alanya, the cave has two entrances. However, you have to climb the rocks to get inside. Although it is 75 meters long, the ceiling is low, so you can walk in certain parts of it by bending. It is said that ancient people hid the girls they had taken captive in this cave in ancient times. According to another rumor, the Lovers' Cave took this name because it is a frequent destination for those who want to be alone without being seen by anyone. By climbing the entrance of this cave, you can jump into the sea from its height of eight meters and experience a quick cooling off.
