Manazan Cave

Manazan Caves are on the side of the Karaman–Yeşidere Taşkale road, in the east of Yeşildere Valley stretching between Yeşildere and Taşkale  Villages. It is 40 kilometers from Karaman. The caves are in the form of five-storey collective dwellings carved entirely by human hands on a high rock mass on a limestone land with a high clay content. The first two floors consist of many cells in the east-west direction. It has a strategic position to control the valley from the east and west. The other floors carved into the high rock mass in the middle are named as Kum Castle, Horse Square and Dead Square, respectively.
