Mesudiye Church
Built of cut stone and rough chipped stone, the church has a rectangular plan and looks like a basilica. The church, which is entered from the west, has three naves. In front of the entrance, there are four columns connected to each other by round arches with alternating rows, one light and one dark.
The entrance of the church is surrounded by a border of colored stones. At the top of this border, two rosettes, one large and one small, draw attention. The church in Mesudiye district center of Ordu province was built in 1912. The corners of the church walls, vertical and horizontal stone moldings, window sills, eaves, carriers of the gable arches in the front parts and four columns in front of the church entrance were made of smooth cut stones using horosan mortar. The only entrance of the church is from the west. The entrance is highlighted with smoothly processed colored cut stones. At the top of the doorway there are two rosettes, one large and one small, and just above the door opening there are animal and mortar reliefs in the form of a short entrance (low rolyph). The door is surrounded by a border made of smoothly worked stones.
