It was built in the second half of the 19th century by the Greeks living in the region for worship purposes. It was used as a wedding hall and warehouse by the municipality until recently. In 2010, it was transferred to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for 10 years by Ünye Municipality. The restoration project was prepared and the project was approved by the Regional Conservation Board. When the restoration is realized, it will serve as a Culture and Art Center.
