Virgin Mary Church
The first name of the Idil Meryem Ana Church, which dates back to 57 AD, was Mor Yuhan. After the first apostles to come to the region, such as Mor Yuhan and Maria Magdalena, came to the region and preached Christianity, and the people accepted Christianity, today's Meryem Ana Church was established with the name Mor Yuhan. Meryem Ana Church is known as the second oldest church to accept Christianity after the Mor Petrus Church, which was located in Antakya in 57 AD and is known as the first church to accept Christianity. The Meryem Ana Church took its name in 1710. Although it was built in 3 sections, it currently has 2 sections, and 1 section has been destroyed due to destruction, wars in history or natural events.
