Bursa Botanical Park
“Soğanlı Botanical Park” was put into service in 1998 in order to provide plenty of oxygen, new recreation and healthy sports areas to the city within the scope of the green belt in Bursa. Soganli Botanical Park; Located on an area of 400,000 m2, it is a park open to herbal research and scientific studies, while protecting the Bursa Plain with 8000 trees from 150 species, 100,000 shrubs from 76 species, 50,000 groundcovers from 20 species and 6000 roses from 27 species.
Also in the park; There are Japanese garden, English garden, French garden, rose garden, azalea-rhododendron garden, fragrant herb garden, rock garden, color gardens, shaped herb gardens.
Soganli Botanical Park offers its visitors the opportunity to rest and observe the leaves and blooming plants at different times, as well as to do sports for a healthy life. In the park, there are 12.000 m. natural walking paths, natural jogging track, 1.000 m. cold asphalt-covered bicycle path and ponds. The similarity of some famous old Bursa houses from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, built in the Botanical Park, adds a different beauty to the park.
