Çayda Çıra Park

“Çayda Çıra Park”, which was built by Çankaya Municipality at an altitude of 1230 in Dikmen Mürsel Uluç District, one of the highest hills of Ankara, was opened with a ceremony. Established on an area of 10,700 square meters, Çayda Çıra Park impresses with its many features, from sports and social activities to areas for children and youth. The park, which has a running track, fitness area, children's playground and sliding hills, has a green area of 7 thousand square meters. In addition to the seating groups, the camellias prepared in the park will offer the people of the region the opportunity to enjoy the unique city view. Çayda Çıra, one of the highest parks in Ankara with an altitude of 1230 meters, also draws attention with its giant Turkish Flag. The 56 square meter flag rising on a 30 meter pole almost salutes Ankara. The Turkish Flag can be seen from almost all regions. There is also a sculpture in the park symbolizing the game Çıra in Çayda, made by Sculptor Metin Yurdanur.
