Hasan Ali Yücel Square
It represents the Thrace lands, which began to fall under the dominion of the Turks with the landing of the forces under the command of Süleyman Pasha in Gallipoli, in 1354, the victory of the conqueror of Rumelia and Süleyman Pasha, who gave our district its name. The work, which is made entirely of bronze, measures 430x480x220 and is exhibited in Hasan Ali Yücel Square with its weight and magnificence of more than half a ton. Hasan Ali Yücel Square is located just below the Cumhuriyet Square and above the Rüstempaşa Complex.
