Maçka Democracy Park

Maçka Democracy Park is a park built on the Kadırgalar Valley (Harbiye Congress Valley) in Istanbul. It covers a large area between Dolmabahçe, Maçka, Nişantaşı and Harbiye.

There are two sports equipment parks, two children's playgrounds, two coffee houses and restaurants, an artificial island and a total of nine artificial pools inside the Maçka Democracy Park.

It is one of the places frequented by amateur and professional photographers, especially at sunset and in snowy weather.

Maçka Democracy Park is one of the parks rich in vegetation. In addition to Linden, Poplar, Hornbeam, Chestnut, Oak, Acacia, Sycamore, Boxwood, Alder, Walnut and Ash tree, there are hundreds of different plants in the park.

There are structures such as the Hilton Hotel, Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall, Lütfi Kırdar Congress Center, Cemil Topuzlu Open Air Theatre, Maçka Armory (ITU Maçka Campus) and Vodafone Park around it.
