Sakarya Kent Park
Sakarya Kent Park was created in the city center by transforming an area of 160 thousand square meters from rubble to green. The entire surface has been grassed by preserving the natural environment and trees in the Kent park, which was built on the land of the former Agricultural Equipment Institution Factory and has a walking area of approximately 4,500 square meters. There is a 14 thousand square meter pond in the park. The city park is green in all seasons, thanks to the Çark Stream, next to which it was built. Two bridges were built to reach the pond built in the middle of the park and the islets on it. There are also different sections for doing sports in the park, where a cool and peaceful environment is offered with the shade of trees on the islets.
There are 2 kiosks and 1 hair tent operating in Kent Park. The interior of the bristle tent is shaped with cedars, and it gives you the pleasure of the countryside in natural beauties with its tea, coffee, delicious kumpir, pancakes and tarhana in the glass. The park also includes a tennis court and an indoor swimming pool. It hosts many events, especially concert organizations.
