Uğur Mumcu Park

Uğur Mumcu Park, where Uğur Mumcu's vehicle with license plate number 06, which was attacked by a bomb, in a glass bell tower, stands tall as an example monument, is located on Buse Street in Büyükdere Mahallesi. In the park built in memory of Uğur Mumcu, one of the pioneers of investigative journalism and one of Turkey's brightest writers, there is the Uğur Mumcu Monument, which consists of newspaper clippings from the day after January 24, 1993, when he was assassinated, as well as the vehicle standing on the pedestal prepared with marbles from 15 different cities. In the area built by Odunpazarı Municipality in a different park format, there are walking paths, playgrounds, game wall, painting walls, amphitheater, skateboarding track, open-air library and a cafeteria where modern urban furniture is placed so that citizens can walk in a more comfortable environment.
