Ankara Opera & Bale
Büyük Tiyatro, also known as Opera Stage, is a theater stage in the Altındağ district of Ankara. Designed by the Turkish architect Şevki Balmumcu as an exhibition house and completed in 1933, the building started to be used as an opera house after renovation works in 1948. It is the oldest theater hall in the city after the Little Theater. Today, it is shared by Ankara State Opera and Ballet and Ankara State Theater.
