Balıkesir region folk dances are folk dances specific to Balıkesir and its surroundings. The games that were born and developed in Balıkesir region are unique to Balıkesir region. Balıkesir is a province located within the borders of both Marmara and Aegean Regions. This feature is also reflected in Balikesir folk dances.
