Çanakkale Basketry
Basket weaving is one of the handicrafts that you can commonly encounter in Çanakkale. Basket weaving is seen intensively in Biga District Center and Ağaköy, Çan District Center Güngören Neighborhood, Gelibolu District Evreşe Town. Thatch and some tree branches are generally used in basket weaving. Baskets, which were used as fruit, vegetable and transportation tools in the past, have diversified considerably since they are also used for decorative purposes today.
