Copper Processing
Forging and casting techniques are used in making copper vessels in Bayburt. Copper ingots are shaped by hammering or production is made by melting the metal and pouring it into a mold using an ell. These copper pots are mostly preferred as kitchen utensils. Since copper is an easy metal to process, various motifs are also engraved on the pots and pans.
