Edirnekâri
It is applied in the interior decoration of architectural works, on the surfaces of stone, wood, cardboard and leather goods. It is named with this name because it was first applied by the masters of Edirne. Edirnekari woodworks are grouped into three groups as carved, inlaid and paint decorated works. It has been used in objects such as cabinet, door, window sill, ceiling, lamp holder, drawer, tray, wall clock box, Quran case, writing set. Another commonly used object is book bindings. It is noteworthy that geometric motifs are almost never used in book decorations in this style.
