Gilaburu Fruit
It is a plant found in the Kayseri region and known to be medicinal. It is said to be good for many diseases. Gilaburu is a dwarf shrub that grows spontaneously in Central Anatolia, especially in Kayseri. It is consumed as a fruit or as a juice in winter. Gilaburu fruit is consumed because of its kidney stone-reducing, diuretic, immune system strengthening, prostate-beneficial, constipation-preventing, insomnia-relieving properties. Gilaburu fruit contains plenty of vitamin C. Both the fruit and the peel are consumed.
