Historical Reisoğlu Mansion and Seljuk Bath
Reisoğlu Mansion, built in 1904 in the old Afyonkarahisar city center, on the outskirts of Afyonkarahisar Castle, is one of the rare examples of civil architecture in Turkey, surrounded by the Mevlevihane Museum and Mosque, the historical Millet Hamam and the historical Ulu Mosque. Reisoğlu Konak has a 3-storey masonry structure and has hosted various civilizations in a century-old history. When you enter through the double-winged wooden door, you can feel the transformation of the design into a concrete product in the spacious and spacious hall, which welcomes you with its historical mystical scent. In addition to the magnificent hall on the ground floor, you will encounter 3 rooms opening to this hall on the right and left. The harmony of Efesus Stone natural stone products, masterfully obtained in these rooms, with wood will amaze you. At that moment, you can find yourself years ago, you can feel the smell of cooked food in the room on the right, which was used as a kitchen, and you can accompany the elders of the house to the coffee pleasure in the rooms on the left. At the end of the stairs on the second floor, another large hall adorned with wood magic will welcome you. The originality of all the rooms opening to this hall on the upper floor has definitely not been spoiled. You can feel the comfortable life in these rooms thanks to the sofa located by the window of the living room overlooking the back garden and the large built-in wardrobes in the rooms. The Hamam, located in the garden of the Historical Konak with a spacious atmosphere, was reconstructed before 1671, according to rumors. In addition, there is a natural water well in the garden. Thanks to its perfect architectural structure, it traps all the moisture in the mansion in this well. The pleasure of the garden is different in every season. You can enjoy the beauty of the snowflakes falling on the garden and the windows of the rooms that wink at the history in winter, and the warm reflections of the sun that caresses the soul in summer, and the tea you will sip in the gazebo. You can greet the spring with the chirping of birds, the greening trees, the fragrance of the flowers, and the autumn with the sometimes yellow and sometimes brown sight of the fallen leaves and their mysterious rustling. In addition to these features, Konak has many values in terms of its current existence, city history and period architecture. Reisoğlu Marble has transformed the Konak and Hamam into a Showroom & International Marketing Office where the Efesus Stone Collection is exhibited, giving the traditional a commercial identity. As the hosts of this cultural heritage, we are happy to welcome you in our historical Mansion.
