Keçecilik
Felt, which has an old and deep-rooted history, has survived to the present day by being transferred from the Huns to the Göktürks, from the Seljuks to the Ottomans with centuries-old traditions. Although the districts of Tire, Bergama and Ödemiş are counted among the important felt centers of İzmir, traditional kick felt workshops are decreasing day by day as a result of the decrease in animal husbandry and the increase in technological products. In addition to traditional products such as saddle felt, mattress felt, and shutters, touristic products such as shoe lining, slippers, vests, saddlebags, bags, shawls, cushions, and jewelry are produced in the workshops that exist in İzmir today.
