Kıspetçilik
One of the most important elements of oil wrestling is the kispet. The kıspet is a special oil wrestling garment made of leather. The construction of this garment is a very difficult and skillful work. The construction of the kıspet, which is sewn with tanned calfskin, is a very laborious and time-consuming endeavor. The tanned calfskin is prepared by drawing and cutting using molds. Consisting of parts such as legs, hoop, chamber and belt, the shortpet is produced by combining these parts with machine and hand sewing.
