Knitted Wool Socks

In the district of Varto, where the tradition of knitting socks is maintained, socks knitted with sheep's wool yarn and needles are also preferred as gifts. In the summer months, after shearing the sheep and washing the wool by the stream, it is turned into a rope, then socks, sweaters, booties and gloves are knitted with this rope and five needles.
