Leatherwork
One of the handicrafts that can be considered highly developed in old Ankara is leather processing. The tanners settled in the place where today's Bentderesi is, they processed raw leather and turned it into leather, leather and sahtiyan. The saddlers used to embroider silk and suma on them and prepare extremely valuable clothing items. This MIMI has been completely forgotten today.
