Şelek
The basket called şelek, knitted to collect hazelnuts, is the most produced and used type of basket in Giresun. A rope is tied to the şelek and with the help of this rope, the şelek is tied to the waist. In this way, it is possible to move comfortably in the orchards where hazelnuts are collected.
