Tel Kırma Handicraft
Needlework, called "Tel kırma", which has been going on for about 150 years in Tavas District of Denizli, is one of the rare elements of our culture in the branch of handicrafts. It is made by processing wires made of metals such as gold, silver and copper on the fabric without using any cutting tools. The natural bending of the wire while embroidering or embroidering is wire breaking. Wire breaking is a handicraft made by women, and especially the wire breaking motifs made by bridesmaids for their dowry has a separate epic story taken from life.
