Wood Carving, dating back to the 17th century, is still practiced today in Amasra and its villages. In Çekiciler Street in Amasra, animals made using trees such as Linden, Boxwood, Ash, Walnut, Cherry and Alder, snack sets, nameplates, keywords, picture holders, bird figures such as storks, plates with verses and beautiful words, and items such as a spoon are sold.
