Wool Socks and Gloves
Wool socks are one of the handicrafts of Bingöl province. Sheep wool is generally used in the production of wool socks. The long winter season in the province enabled the knitting process to take place in almost every house.
Bingöl's wool socks consist of various colors, patterns and motifs. Black and red colors can be used in socks where white color is used predominantly. Plant, animal and object motifs and patterns were used.
The structure of the glove is similar to knitted socks. Usually their colors are white and brown. It can be made using plain and optional flower and plant patterns. It is one of the souvenirs that can be bought from Bingöl.
