Quilts consisting of various colors and patterns are embroidered on satin fabric with the help of needles. The fabric that forms the bottom part of the quilt and is usually white is calico and it is called lining. Cotton, wool or fiber is placed between the lining and the satin fabric that forms the top of the quilt. The quilt motif is created with the nylon threads of the same color as the satin, which starts on the satin with the help of a needle.
