Atatürk Dam Lake
Atatürk Dam is a dam between Adıyaman and Şanlıurfa provinces for energy and irrigation purposes. Within the scope of the GAP Project, it is 180 km downstream of the Karakaya Dam, 51 km from Adıyaman, 24 km from the Bozova district of Şanlıurfa, and was established on the Euphrates River. With the completion of the dam, Atatürk Dam Lake, which is the third largest lake in Turkey, was formed.
