Darlik Dam

Darlık Dam is a dam constructed between 1986-1988 on Darlık Stream in Istanbul for drinking water supply.

The dam is of rock body filling type, with a body volume of 1.600.000 m³, a height of 73,00 m above the river bed, a lake volume of 107,00 hm3 at normal water level and a lake area of 5,56 km² at normal water level. The dam provides 108 hm3 of drinking-utilisation water per year.
