Keban Dam Lake
Keban Dam Lake is one of the largest artificial lakes in Turkey, with a length of 125 kilometers, an area of 675 square meters, a volume of 30.1 billion cubic meters and an average daily flow of 635 m3 / sec. After the construction of Keban Dam, a dam lake with a size of 64 thousand hectares was formed. There are entertainment and recreation areas around the lake that is formed, which the people of Elazığ and the surrounding provinces also benefit from. There are many fish restaurants, especially at the piers of the lake, which passes over to three districts by ferry, and on the beach on the Elazığ-Bingöl highway.
