It bears the climatic characteristics of the Lakes Region in the northern parts. Summers are hot and dry, winters are cold and rainy, and winters are sometimes mild. Towards the south, the Mediterranean climate prevails throughout the Gireniz Valley. Although the plain is high, the climate is dominated by figs, cotton, bananas, etc., thanks to the mild effect of the Mediterranean climate. It is very suitable for products other than products that require high temperature. The soil of the plain consists of sandy soils and is quite fertile. The only problem of the plain is the absence of an irrigation canal. There is plenty of water under the plain. Farmers in the region obtain their water mostly from underground boreholes. Irrigation in the plain is usually done in this way.

Despite this, this plain is among the most important agricultural areas of Denizli. Garden type fruits can be grown easily in the district, which is famous for its melons. Melon, watermelon, cabbage, spinach, tomatoes, peppers, apples and many more conceivable crops are often sourced from the plain.
