Akkışla

While Akkışla used to be within the borders of Sivas province, it was connected to the Pınarbaşı (Aziziye) district of Kayseri with the becoming a province of Kayseri. Then it was connected to the Bünyan district and this situation continued until 1987. It was registered as a district of Kayseri on 19 June 1987. The municipality organization in Akkışla was established in 1953. The name of the district Akkışla; It was named Akkışla due to the whiteness of the rocks in its north, and Akkışla by combining the word "Barracks" because it is suitable for animals to stay outside in the winter months.
